Willow Tree Promise

The Willow Tree Promise figurine is an excellent addition to any Willow Tree collection. It depicts a couple in a loving embrace, but also in a dancing type position. Depending on the situation, it could represent to the person receiving it the couple’s first dance after their wedding or perhaps a spontaneous dance under the stars to a song on the stereo.

As mentioned above, the figure shows a man and a woman in a dancing embrace.  It’s not just a casual dance embrace though.  You can really see the affection that the couple has for each other through the subtle body positioning. It’s really amazing how Susan Lordi builds in such emotions into each of the Willow Tree collectibles.  Although each original figure is hand sculpted and painted, there is very little detail to the people represented in the sculptures.  Yet, somehow, the emotion is plainly visible in each piece.

The Together statue would be an excellent present for a newlywed couple. It would also be an obvious choice for an anniversary present.  It would show the couple (or, at least, the female member of the couple) that you really care for them and support their relationship.  It could easily become a personal keepsake that is kept on display for years to come.
